He popped the question! She said yes! I couldn’t be more excited for Andrew and Nichole on their engagement, these two are seriously meant for one another. The session was so natural and the location made it that much better! how can you go wrong with a beach photo session right?! Just look at their proposal and engagement pictures, I am so in love with these, they look so darn good together!
here are some tips to having the best proposal and engagement session
- Location: chat with your photographer about your needs and your vision for your session, most professional photographers such as myself would suggest a perfect location based on the couples vision. I also recommend my couples to think about locations that are sentimental to them, sometimes they choose to go with locations where they met or where they most spent time at. Every couples needs are different that’s why personalizing proposal and engagement sessions is so important.
- Time of Day: Most outdoor sessions revolve around golden hour, but location, weather, and other factors can come into play. Sessions can take place at any time of the day, it all depends on your vision.
- Clothing: If you’re not familiar with color theory, I recommend looking into it. You can always ask your photographer for advice on what to wear, as it helps to know which colors work well together specifically for location of your choice. It’s also important that you dress comfortably. One thing I always recommend that my clients bring is a jacket, especially if the shoot is scheduled to run past sunset.
