Cheers to 125 year Bechtel! I was blown away when Ashley reached out to me to capture Bechtel’s celebration of 125 years. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity, and to be able to learn all about the company. The company got to celebrate together with their collogues from all around the world at Kennedy Space Center. So much excitement that day, many smiles captured and that’s what I love doing the most, – capturing smiles.
Bechtel has built landmarks from the Hoover Dam to the Channel Tunnel to a post-meltdown confinement shelter for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and many more. They are currently contracted by NASA to create mobile launcher 2 (ML2). NASA’s mobile launcher 2 (ML2) is the ground plat- form structure that will launch Space Launch System (SLS) Block 1B and Block 2 configurations to the Moon, allowing the agency to send astronauts and heavy cargo to the lunar surface as part of NASA’s Artemis program.
